About PrECOG

The activities of PrECOG center on the performance of clinical trials that reflect the priorities of the ECOG Group membership. PrECOG conducts clinical trials of novel treatments for cancer. To that end, PrECOG interacts with the IND holders of such treatments (“sponsors”) to reach agreement on trials that are appropriate for PrECOG and for the Sponsor. Such agreements require provisions for the study agent, regulatory responsibility, and budgetary allocation for the scope of work to be performed.
PrECOG develops clinical trials from concept to study activation in all the diseases encompassed by the activities of the ECOG Disease and Modality committees.
